 About Photos:

Always ask each media spokesperson which type of medium they would prefer when sending in photos. If they take electronic copies, ask what types of files and what resolution they prefer. A good resolution for newspapers is 150 dpi, and most take .jpg and .tiff formats. Action photos are most often preferred, but group photos and still shots also are good. Area newspapers especially like to print photos that include children or animals, so do include these.
